Deputy Minister Nokuzola Capa, together with the Mpumalanga MEC for Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, Ms Khethiwe Moeketsi, is engaging young farmers and students at the University of Mpumalanga in Mbombela.

Held as part of the G20 Legacy Projects, the dialogue provides a platform for young people to help shape the future of South Africa’s agrifood systems through innovation, research, technology and meaningful participation.

The dialogue is focused on empowering young people to shape the future of agriculture by strengthening academic and research partnerships, amplifying youth voices, expanding opportunities for young farmers and agripreneurs, and accelerating the adoption of smart, sustainable farming practices.
